Description
CD30 antibody [Ki-1] is expressed in mononuclear Hodgkin’s and multinucleated Reed-Sternberg cells in Hodgkin’s disease, in tumor cells of a majority of anaplastic large cell lymphomas, in a varying proportion of activated T and B cells and by embryonal carcinomas. It aids in distinguishing large cell lymphomas derived from activated lymphoid cells from histiocytic malignancies and lymphomas derived from resting and precursor lymphoid cells, or from anaplastic carcinomas. Compared to other CD30 mouse antibodies, [Ber-H2] has shown stronger labeling intensity and higher percentage of positively labeled cells.
